🪔 A Heartwarming Triple Celebration: Deusi-Bhailo 2081! ✨

On November 1, 2024, the spirit of Tihar came alive as three pillars of our Rotary family - Rotary Club of Patan, Inner Wheel Club Patan, and Rotaract Club of Patan - joined hands for a spectacular Deusi-Bhailo celebration at the welcoming residence of Rtn. Ganesh Raj and Bijaya Laxmi Shrestha in Sinchahity.

This beautiful collaboration brought together members from all three clubs, creating a vibrant atmosphere of unity and festive joy. The traditional Deusi-Bhailo performances echoed through the afternoon, spreading blessings and good wishes for this auspicious season.

A heartfelt thank you to our gracious hosts for opening their home to this wonderful gathering of our extended Rotary family!

Taking a heartfelt step toward a polio-free world! 🌍🙏

On this #WorldPolioDay, members of District 3292 Rotary came together for a meaningful rally from Thapathali to Tundikhel, raising their voices in unison for the eradication of polio. Wearing their "End Polio" T-shirts, participants walked with pride and hope, reminding us all that united, we can conquer this disease once and for all. 💪❤

❤️ Heartbeats of Hope: Rotary in Action! 🏫
On 4th September 2024 (19 Bhadra 2081), Rotary Club of Patan, in collaboration with Nepal Heart Foundation, conducted a vital heart screening camp for school children in Banepa, Kavre, as part of Rotary Global Grant Project GG2347069.
📊 Impact at a glance:

1100 students screened
7 heart conditions detected

5 congenital heart diseases
2 rheumatic heart diseases

2 cases identified for urgent surgical intervention

👥 Our dedicated team:

6 Rotary Club of Patan members
Medical professionals from Nepal Heart Foundation
Support from Rotary Club of Livingston & Gift of Life International

🏥 Venues: Gyan Kunja Secondary School and two other local schools
🙏 Special thanks to our local coordinator, R P Bajracharya, for facilitating this life-changing event.
This screening is a crucial step in early detection and intervention, potentially saving young lives. We're committed to expanding this initiative to reach more children across Nepal.
