The Rotary Club of Patan will mark World Polio Day with a session led by Rtn. Gabriele Mallapaty on the global polio eradication effort, scientific achievements and Rotary’s contribution. Mr. Krishna Gautam, a disability rights and independent living professional, will join the session to share his personal perspectives and experiences.

World Polio Day is observed on 24 October; our club will mark the occasion at its Monday meeting on 26 October.
Guests are welcome. Please ask us to confirm your visit before travelling. Standard guest contribution: NPR 500 per person.

PEEF Scholarships
Our flagship education programme since 1991, providing scholarships to public-school students: 374 recipients across 24 schools in 2026.
KPAD – Disability Inclusion
An endowment, established in 2018, supporting education, livelihoods, skills and rehabilitation for persons with disabilities. The club has served this cause since 1997.
Heart Health
For more than a decade, we have worked with Nepal Heart Foundation and Rotary partners on heart-health awareness, school and community screening, and referral to specialist care.
Urban Forest – Hattiban
With forest authorities, local government and the community, Rotary clubs are growing a native mini-forest in Lalitpur, developing the same site year after year.
