Vocational Service Awards
Since Rotary Year 2010/11, the Rotary Club of Patan has honoured professionals who uphold high ethical standards and, through their work, make outstanding contributions to their communities. Vocational Service is one of Rotary’s five Avenues of Service.
The awards recognise vocational excellence and service to society. Since 2022/23 the club has conferred two awards a year. Ceremony dates have varied over the years. Cash awards are funded by the club together with Rtn. Prakash Raj Regmi (since 2010/11), Rtn. Nirmal Pradhanang (since 2014/15) and Rtn. Rabendra Raj Pandey (since 2021/22).

In 2020/21 no ceremony was held because of the COVID-19 pandemic; instead the club provided essential COVID-19 supplies worth over NRs 15 lakh to hospitals and clinics in the Kathmandu Valley.
