Youth in Action
Build friendships. Learn by doing. Lead a project that matters.
Young people lead service through Rotaract and school-based Interact clubs. The Rotary Club of Patan supports them through sponsorship, mentorship and joint projects, while recognising their own leadership and achievements.
Rotaract Club of Patan
For adults aged 18 and older who want to develop leadership and professional skills, make friends and serve their community. Ask the club about its membership requirements and current activities.
Rotaract Patan’s work includes inclusive self-defence training, community health, peacebuilding, blood donation and school sport.
Interact: service at school
For young people aged 12–18, Interact connects leadership and fellowship with practical service. Students take part through their school club and its adult advisers.
Our partnership with the Interact Club of St. Xavier’s School, Godavari brings young leaders together through community projects and joint activities.

What participation can look like
Serve together
Help organise community activities, awareness programmes or school sport. Opportunities depend on the club’s programme and arrangements.
Develop a skill
Practise teamwork, communication and project planning by taking responsibility alongside other young leaders.
Share your experience
Professionals, teachers and alumni can offer mentoring or a practical skill to support a youth-led activity.
Take the first step
Tell us whether you are a student, a young adult, a school representative or a potential mentor, and what interests you. We can discuss the appropriate club or programme contact. School students should involve their school adviser or parent/guardian.
