Since our charter in 1985, the Rotary Club of Patan has been committed to expanding Rotary’s reach and impact throughout Nepal. Through the sponsorship of new Rotary, Rotaract, and Interact clubs, we have helped cultivate emerging leaders, engage youth in meaningful service, and strengthen communities across our region.

Each club we sponsor represents our dedication to Rotary’s mission of bringing together business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

Congratulations to the 14 participants who successfully completed the 4th Batch of the STAR Project Mushroom Cultivation Training at Panauti Municipality–2, Kavrepalanchowk.

Rotary Club of Patan is pleased to support this meaningful initiative focused on practical skills, livelihood opportunities and economic empowerment of persons with disabilities.

Special Joint Meeting of Ten Rotary Clubs

Rotary Club of Patan participated in a Special Joint Meeting of ten Rotary Clubs held on 8 August 2026 at Godawari Village Resort, Godawari.

The gathering brought together Rotarians from the ten clubs that had recently collaborated on the joint Miyawaki tree plantation initiative. The meeting provided an opportunity to review the plantation programme, strengthen fellowship among the participating clubs, share experiences and explore possibilities for future collaborative service projects.

The discussion also highlighted the importance of moving beyond one-time activities and focusing on projects that can create sustainable and measurable community impact through collective Rotary action.

Six members of Rotary Club of Patan, including President Rtn. Shiv Prakash Khemka, participated in the meeting.

We appreciate Rotary Club of Godawari and the fellow participating clubs for coordinating this meaningful gathering and look forward to continued collaboration in the spirit of Service Above Self.

📰 Media Coverage: Rotary Joint Tree Plantation Programme 2026

We are pleased to share coverage by Lokwani News of the Rotary Joint Tree Plantation Programme held at Kirat Religious Forest, Hattiban, Lalitpur.

Under the joint initiative of ten Rotary Clubs of Rotary International District 3292, and with the technical support of the Division Forest Office, Lalitpur, a total of 1,000 native saplings representing more than 20 local species and 1,000 vetiver rhizomes were planted.

More than 150 Rotarians, Rotaractors, government officials, community representatives and volunteers participated in the programme, which was led by the Rotary Club of Godawari.

Rotary Club of Patan is proud to have actively participated in this collaborative initiative for biodiversity enhancement, soil conservation and a greener future.
