Celebrating the Lives of Late Rotarians

The Rotary Club of Patan was built through the contributions of its Rotarians. Through Celebrating the Lives of Late Rotarians (CLLR), the club honours members who have passed away and keeps their values and legacy alive.

About the initiative

The RCP Board started this tradition under the leadership of senior Rotarian Rabendra Raj Pandey. A six-member committee guides it: Rtns. Kedar B. Shrestha, Rabendra R. Pandey, Ganesh R. Shrestha, Khadak S. Bisht, Sandhya Regmi and Lalita C. Thapa. Its aims are to honour and recognise the contributions of late Rotarians, celebrate their achievements, and learn about their lives through their families, friends, colleagues and communities, while offering care and support to the families.

The club dedicates two events a year to CLLR, organised in close collaboration with the families and friends of the late Rotarians. Events may include tributes, exhibitions, publications, and awards or scholarships.
